This study examines the nuanced relationship between social media engagement and adolescent body image satisfaction, with a specific emphasis on gender differences. Employing a multifaceted approach, we aim to explain the intricate mechanisms through which social media platforms shape adolescents' perceptions of their bodies, while considering the varying experiences of male and female youth.
