ON THE DILATION OF FLEXIBLE ROUND PLATES MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS BEYOND THE LIMITS OF ELASTICITY
The constructed mathematical model of nonlinear bending of thin plates with a circular contour is analyzed. The deformation of structures is investigated beyond the limits of elasticity and taking into account plastic dilatancy. In the process of setting the problem, the application of known plasticity conditions of insulating materials is evaluated with a demonstration of the advantages proposed earlier by the author of the article. In view of this, the model was based on the conditions associated with the normalized deviatory stress space. The final deflections of the plates under axisymmetric loads within the boundaries of the Pocket are investigated. Composites have been selected as structural materials, in which dilation manifestations are not detected before the development of plastic deformations, in the elastic region they obey Hooke's law in three-dimensional space. To compare the obtained results of solving test problems, the possible applications of the equations postulated by the author and proposed by E.V. Lomakin were analyzed as sufficiently tested for plastically dilating composites. As a result, distributions of the main parameters of VAT structures were obtained, quantitative and qualitative features of deformation of structures caused by plastic dilatation were revealed.
