Experiências com Inteligência Artificial no Ensino Fundamental: da descoberta à ressignificação da imagem

Artificial intelligence (AI) is present in our daily lives to solve various problems or promote interactivity on social networks. Schools, not being apart from this reality, have embraced the use of digital technologies and AI in the development of pedagogical activities. In this paper, I report on experiences in image generation with AI in three public elementary schools, with the following objectives: to review subjects worked on in the classroom; to develop school project activities, as well as to discuss relevant issues related to copyright and the ethical use of the internet, social networks and AI and, finally, to reread works such as Vidas Secas by Graciliano Ramos and Retirantes by Candido Portinari. The results suggest that AI-generated images are resources that enhance learning when students, by using prompts and algorithms, identify knowledge in the images generated.
