Comparison of genetic diversity based on the excretion of purine derivatives of Etawa Crossbreed and (Sannen Etawa Cross) Sapera Goats
Abstract This research aims to determine the extent of the quantities involved of protein synthesized by microorganisms, further study analyzing specific chemicals present in the urine of Ettawa Crossbreed and Sapera goats is necessary.. Each breed consisted of 15 goats aged between 8 and 12 months. The provided feed consisted of forage (pakchong grass) and pollard bran. The initial phase involved a 14-day adjustment period and collecting all urine samples. Subsequently, the goats had a fasting period of 3 days to facilitate the detection of ketones in the urine. An analytical examination was conducted on urine samples to determine the presence of purine derivatives, specifically allantoin, uric acid, and xanthine hypoxanthine. We examined the acquired data employing an independent student t-test experimental design on the results of purine derivatives (PD). The study found that the Ettawa Crossbreed goats had an endogenous PD excretion rate of 0.039 mmol/W 0.75 /day, but the Sapera goats had a rate of 0.053 mmol/W 0.75 /day. We used the results of endogenous PD excretion to develop a modified equation for estimating rumen microbial protein production in Ettawa Crossbreed goats (Y = 0.84X + (0.039 W 0.75 e −0.25X )) and Sapera goats (Equation Y = 0.84X + (0.053 W 0.75 e −0.25X )).
