Factors Affecting the Supply of Effective Health and Safety Trainings in the UAE
This research investigates the factors influencing the supply of health and safety (HSE) training in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This research identifies the main variables influencing the effective implementation of HSE training, taking into account the UAE's unique multinational workforce and rapid industrialization. The research employs a comprehensive methodology that includes a review of the literature, expert interviews, and a survey using the Relative Importance Index (RII) method. Regulatory frameworks, financial resources, cultural considerations, occupational hazards, technological advancements, language barriers, and training infrastructure are all identified as critical factors in the study. According to the findings, the most significant factors are cultural aspects, the prevalence of specific occupational hazards, and financial resources. Recommendations are proposed for each identified factor to enhance HSE training in the UAE. This study adds to the understanding of HSE training dynamics in the UAE and lays the foundation for future research and policy development in this field.
