Dynamic evolution analysis of AI in education based on SciMAT
The purpose of this article is to conduct an in-depth analysis of literature on AI in education. A bibliometric study was conducted using articles from SciMAT and Web of Science databases, selecting 388 papers published between 1985 and 2023. This study systematically studied and analyzed the literature on the application of AI in education, and found that the number of emerging keywords was significantly higher than the number of annihilated keywords, indicating a growing trend in international research on AI in education. The evolution path of the theme is becoming increasingly complex, involving a wide range of research fields, forming 7 main evolution paths, keywords such as Technology, Chatbot, Experience, and Neural Networks may become research frontiers. By reviewing relevant research on the empowerment of AI in the field of education, we aim to provide reference for further research.
