Enhance AES S-Box with Tinker-Bell Chaotic Map

Security techniques must be enhanced to combat emerging methods of data stealing. The substitution Box(S-Box) serves as the basis of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption techniques, and the algorithm security is increased by its well-designed. S-Boxes currently in use: the Standard S-Box (SS-Box), and the Dynamic S-Box (DS-Box). An effective design of S- Box can boost the security of the encryption algorithm. DS-Box was generated previously by first key Schedule Algorithm (KSA) only, then the RC4 algorithm was used to generate DS- Box. In present two DS- Boxes generated by RC4 implemented with Henon chaotic map (HCM) and Logistic chaotic maps (LCM) to build modified S-Boxes, one algorithm is presented: DS-Box using RC4 algorithm implemented with the Tinkerbelle chaotic map (TCM) and is dependent on both the key and the plaintext. Then compare this algorithm with previous work; DS-Box using KSA only, DS-Box using RC4 only, DS-Box using RC4 implemented with HCM, and DS-Box using RC4 implemented with LCM. The purpose of the paper is to illustrate the effectiveness of the suggested DS-Box with RC4 using the TCM. These five S-boxes give good results but since the proposed S-boxes depend on affine transformation (AT), complexity and periodicity are ensured. Additionally, security is increased by the use of RC4 in DS-Box with TCM. It increases the difficulty of linear and differential cryptanalysis.
