Research on Retinex-Gamma Image Enhancement Algorithm Based on Lab Space in 3D Reconstruction Scene
To deal with the problems such as uneven illumination and unclear modelling in 3D reconstruction, an image enhancement algorithm combining improved Retinex and improved bilateral gamma in Lab color space is proposed. At first, the image is converted from RGB color space to Lab color space. The original images were enhanced with the improved Retinex algorithm, the improved bilateral gamma algorithm and the L-channel enhancement algorithm respectively to obtain three images. Finally, these three images are weighted and fused to obtain the final image. Experimental results based on both visual inspection and objective data are given to demonstrate that the algorithm achieves satisfactory results in preserving color constancy, improving image clarity, and enhancing the performance of 3D reconstruction.
