Chaotic Image Encryption Algorithm Based on 2DLSCS

This paper presents a digital picture encryption technique that utilizes a two-dimensional Logistic-Sine Improved Chaotic System (2DLSCS). Initially, channel separation is executed for color images. Furthermore, the newly proposed enhanced chaotic system, in conjunction with an initial key, is utilized to construct distinct disruption and diffusion sequences for each channel. Next, the image is encrypted by utilizing the chaotic sequences that were formed, resulting in a cipher image for each channel. Ultimately, the cipher images from the three channels are merged to acquire the ultimate cipher image. The technique employed in this work demonstrates excellent performance in several tests, including histogram analysis, picture correlation assessment, key sensitivity evaluation, UACI and NPCR analysis, and information entropy measurement. Hence, the encryption technique is capable of withstanding numerous common attacks, thereby enhancing the security of the image.
