Performance Analysis of LCMV Beamforming for GNSS Anti-Spoofing in Multiple Interference Scenarios
This paper presents an implementation of Linearly Constrained Minimum Variance (LCMV) beamforming for mitigating Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) spoofing attacks. The proposed method utilizes an antenna array to spatially filter spoofing signals while preserving authentic satellite signals. We demonstrate that by exploiting the spatial diversity of authentic satellite signals and the co-located nature of spoofing signals, LCMV beamforming can effectively suppress spoofing interference while maintaining authentic signal reception. Simulation results show spoofing signal suppression of up to −312 dB while maintaining authentic signal reception at −16 dB relative to peak gain.
