A Comprehensive Study on Detecting Skin Diseases Using Deep Learning Techniques
The fact that the skin is the outermost layer of the body means that skin illnesses are widespread. Preventing these conditions from becoming life-threatening requires early detection. Thus, academics are now concentrating a great deal of effort on deep learning methods for diagnosing skin conditions. This paper looks at the different ways that scientists are trying to identify skin illnesses using deep learning technologies. We provide a succinct introduction to skin diseases, including information on datasets, kinds, and data preprocessing methods. We also discuss the deep learning paradigm and describe popular deep learning techniques used to diagnose skin diseases. Presenting a thorough literature overview of current studies on deep learning approaches for skin disease diagnosis is the main goal of this work. Our results show that deep learning approaches surpass dermatologists, different machine-based treatment plans, and other classification techniques in the identification of skin diseases from images due to their high accuracy.
