Metamodeling for network experimentation: ABEP of SC diversity with L branches under the combined effects of Rayleigh fading and BX co-channel interference (CCI) in WCN case study
In this paper, we analyze the average bit error probability (ABEP) in wireless communications networks (WCN) with a receiver that employs selection combining (SC) with L branches, in a complex environment with Rayleigh fading and Beaulieu-Xie (BX) co-channel interference (CCI). Closed-form expressions for the moment generating function (MGF) are derived, and based on the MGF, we determine the ABEP for non-coherent binary frequency shift keying (BFSK) and binary differential phase shift keying (BDPSK) modulation. Based on the obtained numerical and graphical results, we perform an analysis for different numbers of diversity branches and different values of the parameters m, κ, and L. Additionally, we introduce Large Language Model (LLM) enabled method for automating metamodel creation in order to reduce time and effort needed for adoption of model-driven engineering workflow targeting network experimentation.
