An OpenMV-Based Intelligent Manipulator For Pill Sorting

In this study, an intelligent pill sorting machine based on OpenMV and Manipulator is designed to solve the problems of inefficiency and manual errors in traditional pill sorting. The system is able to accurately sort pills through real-time colour recognition by OpenMV, and automate the gripping and encapsulation operations by a six-degree-of-freedom Manipulator controlled by STM32. The system combines computer vision and servo control to achieve efficient sorting of different coloured pills, improving the accuracy and efficiency of drug management. Experimental results show that the machine has significant advantages in sorting efficiency and accuracy, has a wide range of application prospects, and provides an innovative solution for the medical automation field.
