Wronskian and grammian solutions for the (3+1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon-Manna-Pempinelli equation

Abstract In the paper, a Wronskian condition and a Grammian condition are proposed for the (3+1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon-Manna-Pempinelli equation. The conditions guarantee that the N -soliton solutions of the equation can be expressed in the form of Wronskian and Grammian determinants. The proof is conducted with the help of the Plücker relation and the Jacobi identity for determinants. Then under the given linear conditions, some examples of the Wronskian solutions are discussed in detail, such as the rational solutions, N -soliton solutions, negatons and positons.
