AÇÕES PREVENTIVAS FRENTE A VIOLÊNCIA DOMÉSTICA NA ADOLESCÊNCIA UMA REVISÃO DA LITERATURA

ABSTRACT INTRODUCTION: Adolescent violence is an alarming reality occurring in various family and social contexts, often perpetrated by those who should provide protection, such as parents and guardians. The forms of violence against adolescents are varied, including physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, with devastating consequences for the physical and mental health of young people. METHODOLOGY: This study was conducted through an Integrative Literature Review (ILR) aimed at analyzing scientific articles published between 2013 and 2023. The search was carried out in the SciELO, LILACS, and MEDLINE databases, using specific descriptors to ensure the breadth and accuracy of the results. Articles addressing domestic violence against adolescents were selected, excluding incomplete or outdated articles. Data analysis followed pre-established steps, and selected articles were organized into thematic categories for better interpretation. RESULTS: The review resulted in the selection of five relevant articles. The findings indicate that domestic violence against adolescents is on the rise, with a focus on physical violence and neglect. DISCUSSION: The results suggest the need for an integrated, multifaceted approach to combat adolescent violence. Underreporting of cases, lack of professional training, and insufficient public policies are challenges hindering the resolution of this issue. Collaboration between various services and communities is essential to ensure adequate support for adolescent victims of violence. CONCLUSION: Adolescent violence remains a serious issue requiring urgent action. The implementation of interinstitutional strategies, effective public policies, and psychosocial support programs is essential to confront this reality and protect vulnerable adolescents.
