Fabrication of nano Cu/Cu2O@C for the conversion of glycerol to lactic acid

Cu/Cu 2 O@C catalysts were prepared by calcining a Cu-MOF constructed with trimesic acid as the ligand. The resulting material consisted of carbon-shelled Cu/Cu 2 O nanoparticles and was applied in the catalytic conversion of glycerol to lactic acid.
