The effect of ecoenzyme from various combinations of fruit peel waste on the growth and yield of several mutant lines of Kipas Putih soybean

Abstract The purpose of this study was to see the effect of various combinations of ecoenzyme materials on the growth and yield of the Kipas Putih soybean mutant line. The study took place at the East Sector Experimental Garden, and the Seed Science and Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University from February to May 2024. Complete Randomized Block Design with a 4 x 4 factorial pattern was repeated 3 times was used. The factors studied were the combination of fruit peel waste (K) and the Kipas Putih soybean mutant line (G). The first factor consisted of 4 levels, namely K 0 (0 ecoenzyme), K 1 (dragon fruit, pineapple, banana, mango); K 2 (pineapple, papaya, orange, watermelon), and K 3 (melon, banana, papaya, pineapple). The second factor was the Kipas Putih soybean mutant line (G), namely B 4 , B 7 , B 18 and var.Kipas Putih (parent). The results showed that the percentage of filled pods had a very significant effect due to the administration of ecoenzyme, while the B 4 mutant line had a very significant effect on the number of filled pods. The best interaction was found in the combination of K 2 treatment (pineapple, papaya, orange, watermelon) with the B 4 mutant line.
