Study of Photo‐Conversion Performance of Carbon‐Based Perovskite Solar Cells
In recent years, halide perovskite solar cells have garnered significant attention due to their excellent photovoltaic properties. However, stability issues and toxic elements hinder the commercialization of these emerging devices. This research employs a carbon‐based solar cell structure to achieve improved photo‐conversion performance and a more stable device. Here, several perovskite materials, such as ABI 3 (where A = MA, FA, Cs, and B = Pb, Ge, Sn), are utilized as the active absorber layer. The effects of perovskite thickness, deep defect density, and device operating temperature on cell performance are examined. Additionally, the J – V hysteresis phenomena in perovskite‐based solar cells is investigated using defect models. The results show that FASnI 3 is the most efficient carbon‐based solar cell, with an efficiency of 24.11%. This research paves the way for metal iodide to be utilized as an active layer for C‐PSC, enabling the production of more reliable and efficient solar cells.
