O IMPACTO DA RELAÇÃO DOCENTE-DISCENTE E O PAPEL DA METODOLOGIA ATIVA NO PROCESSO DE FORMAÇÃO INICIAL DE FUTUROS MÉDICOS

Abstract: The Flexnerian teaching model, created in 1910, contributed to transformations in the field of medical education. However, Brazil is currently undergoing a significant transformation, moving beyond the Flexner educational model and seeking more inclusive methodologies that foster autonomy and student participation in the learning process. This study, based on descriptive qualitative research and the State of Knowledge, investigated the impact of the relationship between teachers and students in medical training, with a focus on active methodologies. An analysis of 19 studies from the last 10 years revealed that these methodologies promote more dynamic student participation, contributing to a more human and comprehensive education for future doctors. Although implementation faces challenges, the potential benefits, including training adapted to the demands of contemporary medical practice, justify the application of these pedagogical approaches.
