CHATGPT AND RUSSIAN GRAMMAR: A HELPFUL TOOL OR FALSE HOPE?
In the last few years, artificial intelligence (AI) has changed how we teach foreign languages by providing new tools to help students. One of these tools is ChatGPT which can help students learn Russian grammar, which is known to be quite complicated. This article looks at how well ChatGPT helps learners with Russian grammar; in other words, the study is an attempt to find out how well it can explain things, create tasks, and give quick feedback. The results of this article show that ChatGPT is a helpful extra resource, but it cannot replace standard learning methods for now. It helps learners grasp grammar rules, fix errors, and customize tasks. It can be said that tools powered by AI, like ChatGPT, can improve language learning if they are used alongside with language classroom teachers or traditional methods of teaching. Finally, one should not forget that AI can help with learning Russian language, but it should support traditional teaching methods instead of replacing them.
