Zero Trust Security Models for CloudBased Enterprise Applications
Zero Trust Security Models have emerged as essential frameworks for enterprises migrating to cloud environments, addressing the limitations of traditional perimeter-based approaches. As remote workforces expand and multi-cloud architectures proliferate, organizations face increasing security challenges that require continuous authentication and verification. This article introduces a Zero Trust Cloud Security Framework (ZTSF) that integrates softwaredefined perimeters, AI-powered threat detection, and secure identity management to protect enterprise cloud workloads. Through case studies from financial services, healthcare, and technology sectors, we demonstrate how Zero Trust principles reduce attack surfaces, improve access control efficiency, and enhance regulatory compliance. The implementation roadmap provides organizations with a structured pathway to transform their security posture while balancing operational continuity with emerging trends in adaptive security, confidential computing, decentralized identity, and quantum-resistant cryptography
