DEVELOPMENT OF THE ARCHITECTURAL TYPOLOGY OF NURSING HOMES IN HENAN PROVINCE

Facing the intensification of the aging process in Henan Province, the number of empty nesters and the elderly with dementia is constantly increasing.The nursing home industry is developing rapidly, but it is still difficult to meet the diversified elderly care needs of the elderly in Henan Province.Through the analysis of cases in nursing homes at home and abroad, combined with the characteristics of the elderly in Henan Province, this paper establishes a set of theoretical models, including three interrelated parts: social model, functional model and typological model.Suggestions for the development of building types for nursing homes are put forward.
