Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy with Cruroplasty and Single-Suture Omentopexy: A Retrospective Pilot Study on Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Outcomes
Background: De novo gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a common complication of bariatric and metabolic surgery. This retrospective study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) with cruroplasty and single-suture omentopexy in reducing the incidence of de novo GERD and improving existing GERD symptoms.
