RECOMMENDATIONS FOR UPDATING SELECTED INFORMATION ARRAYS WHEN VARIOUS TYPES OF CHANGES ARE DETECTED IN THEIR COMPOSITION DURING LONG-TERM OPERATION
This article is about large sample information arrays built in the subjects of the Russian Federation based on the population census database. Characteristic of these arrays is the duration of their operation and the need for constant updating due to various types of changes (temporary, structural, administrative, and others) that occur in their composition over time and lead to the unavailability of a number of elements. Unreachable elements are not subject to exploitation. In such situations, they must be removed from the selected information array, and new elements must be introduced in their place. This procedure allows you to update the selected information array and increase its practical significance. The updating of the sample information arrays is carried out on the basis of the results of updating the sample arrays, formed on the basis of sample information arrays for conducting a variety of sample observations on socio-demographic and socio-economic issues in the inter-census period. The indicated situation is considered using the example of four federal statistical observations of a selective nature. These sample observations include: "The diet of the population", "Quality and accessibility of services in the fields of education, health and social services, employment promotion", "The state of public health", "Income of the population and participation in social programs". Recommendations for updating selected information arrays of surveillance objects and surveillance units are outlined and the most difficult problems and approaches to their solution are identified.
