Search for innovative forms of probiotic animal feed additives for correction of intestinal microbiocenosis

Probiotics are currently actively used in applied biotechnology, not only as microorganisms that ensure the natural colonization and restoration of the intestinal microbiota, but also as an alternative way to improve the health of modern breeding farms, nurseries and livestock farms by reducing the use of antibacterial drugs. The culture of using probiotics in animal husbandry is a strategy for the formation of healthy livestock, high-quality and safe products of animal origin and, as a result, the formation of consumer demand for products that meet a healthy lifestyle. Most modern probiotic drugs are based on bacteria, such as Lactobacillus or Bifidobacterium strains, which play a major role in the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. However, passing through the acidic environment of the stomach, oral probiotics can be naturally inactivated, which reduces the necessary colonization of the intestine. Thus, the protection of bacterial cells from the negative effects of the aggressive environment of individual areas of the gastrointestinal tract is a prerequisite for the practical use of probiotic probiotics in animals. The article provides an overview of the world literature on the search for innovative forms of animal feed additives that improve the bioavailability of biologically active components included in combined feed additives. The selection of a technological method for the production of a combined feed additive based on a probiotic composition was carried out.
