CURRENT UPDATING OF SAMPLE ARRAYS WHEN CONDUCTING SAMPLE OBSERVATIONS ON SOCIOECONOMIC ISSUES
Within the framework of the announced field of study, the main aspects of the current updating of sample arrays in conducting sample observations on socio-economic issues are considered. Special attention is paid to selective observations, which are carried out on the basis of selected arrays of objects and observation units intended for long-term operation. In the Russian Federation, such sample observations include two large-scale sample observations: the Household Budget Survey and the Labor Force Survey. It is typical for conducting household budget surveys to use formed sample arrays for a long time with quarterly updating of this array within each year of its operation. When conducting a labor force survey in the first two years, sample arrays are used, which include completely disjoint objects and observation units. In the next two years, the previously formed sample arrays are being re-exploited (once every 2 years) (in the first 2 years). The current updating of the sample arrays is carried out monthly (the maximum service life is 6 years). The designated area of study is considered using the example of a labor force survey conducted in 2024 based on the information array of the 2020 All-Russian Population Census.
