THE PARADIGM OF FLEXIBILITY IN THE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF AN AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISE

In today’s turbulent environment, flexibility emerges as the dominant characteristic of economic systems’ adaptive potential, determining their evolutionary trajectory. The article advances the understanding of flexibility as an integral capability of an enterprise to proactively adapt through the transformation of business processes and organizational structure. The findings indicate that in contemporary conditions, agricultural enterprise flexibility is determined by a complex interplay of economic, political, social, and cultural factors. The article advances a conceptual understanding of flexibility as a distinct manifestation of adaptability, characterized by optimized time and resource allocation in implementing adaptation mechanisms. The research establishes that effective flexibility management is based on the principles of duality, feedback, proactivity, and balance. The article substantiates principles of agricultural enterprise flexibility as a methodological foundation for developing adaptive management mechanisms that balance operational stability with strategic transformation capabilities in dynamic market conditions. The synergistic interaction between management duality, feedback, and diversity principles, combined with proactivity, innovation, and resource provision, establishes a foundation for adaptive agricultural business models capable of thriving amid global transformations. Implementation of the proposed conceptual approach to flexibility development enhances agricultural enterprises’ adaptability to dynamic business environment challenges while accounting for sector-specific characteristics. In practical terms, this approach facilitates the identification of enterprise flexibility priorities, streamlines managerial decisionmaking, and enhances environmental adaptability. Strategically, the proposed approach enables effective adaptation mechanisms for global challenges, supports preventive measures against potential threats, and strengthens the enterprise’s competitive market position.
