On the concept of development in acmeology: historical and psychological analysis

The article discusses the problem of development and its research options in various scientific psychological schools. It turns out that the linear (orthogenetic) construction of the trajectory of personality development in the main human activities is not promising enough. Conclusions are drawn about the possibility of applying to the discussion of options for the development of acmeological theory and practice in the context of educational reform. The article shows the constant accumulation of knowledge about development as the main determinant of anthropogenesis and sociogenesis, as well as the existence of grounds for integrating scientific schools of psychology in the interests of promoting the idea of acme as a system-forming basis for progress in the field of human studies, taking into account the possibility of implementing the idea of cladogenesis as the principle of variability and multi-vector development.
