With the help of CiteSpace software, based on CNKI and Web of Science databases, this paper takes Chinese journal papers and English journal papers on the theme of sustainable innovation ability as the research object, aiming to reveal the research hotspots, evolution paths and future trends in this field. Through the analysis of keyword co-occurrence, author cooperation network and literature co-citation network, the results show that (1) the research hotspots of sustainable innovation ability are mainly concentrated in the fields of open innovation, dynamic capability, knowledge management, organizational learning and digital transformation; (2) The research evolution path has gradually expanded from the early technology innovation management to multiple perspectives such as strategic management, ecosystem construction and sustainable development. (3) Future research trends include the reconstruction of innovation capacity in the context of digitalization, the synergy mechanism of the innovation ecosystem, and the comparison of innovation capacity in a cross-cultural context. This study provides a systematic literature review and theoretical framework for follow-up scholars, and provides practical enlightenment for enterprises to improve their sustainable innovation capabilities.
