DIGITAL FORKLIFT NAVIGATION SYSTEM IN THE WAREHOUSE OF THE AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

This paper proposes the development of a hardware and software complex for positioning moving and static objects at an agricultural warehouse or wholesale distribution center of the agro-industrial complex. (Research purpose) The research purpose is developing a digital forklift navigation system using artificial intelligence elements to efficiently move it in the warehouses of the agro-industrial complex. (Materials and methods) It has been shown that the method is based on obtaining distance information using wireless communication technology at short distances with low energy consumption from Ultra-Wide Band and Bluetooth tags. The main advantages of the proposed approach have been identified: cheapness of tags with relatively high measurement accuracy, long battery life. These advantages make the use of Ultra-Wide Band and Bluetooth technologies acceptable for agricultural production. (Results and discussion) We conducted experimental studies of the digital navigation complex of a forklift truck in the warehouse of the agricultural production cooperative "Orinino" of the Morgaushsky district of the Chuvash Republic. It was established from the results of measurements of the loader coordinates by three methods: a laser rangefinder, triangulation using Bluetooth technology and neural network data that if the measurements taken by the laser rangefinder are taken as reference, then the average error during triangulation was 2.42 percent, and the neural network was 0.33 percent. It was determined that in order to eliminate possible errors and verify the results, a neural network can be used in parallel as an auxiliary tool. In modern computers, conducting parallel calculations does not cause problems, and therefore both implemented approaches to determining coordinates are left in the program code. (Conclusions) Intelligent navigation of a forklift truck using a digital complex will ensure an increase in the efficiency of its operation in an agricultural warehouse.

(Research purpose) The research purpose is developing a digital forklift navigation system using artificial intelligence elements to efficiently move it in the warehouses of the agro-industrial complex.
