IMPROVING THE ORGANIZATION OF TRAFFIC FLOWS AND LANDSCAPE DESIGN

The quality of a person's life depends on the urban environment in which they live. The analysis of ways to improve the quality and appearance of the city's road network using landscape design methods is presented. The dynamics of changes in the number of road accidents in the Russian Federation for 2019-2023, which are decreasing due to the adoption of federal programs to reduce accidents, is considered. There is an increase in accidents related to personal mobility equipment. It is indicated that the concept of using urban road landscaping has a beneficial effect on the quality of the urban environment. Examples of the use of landscape design in Bryansk in the modernization of existing roads and the construction of new ones are given.
