The influence of probiotic preparations on the composition of the intestinal microflora of geese
The article presents the results of the effect of Vetom 1 and Vetom 2 based on bacteria of the genus Bacillus on the microbial composition of the intestinal microflora of geese of the Krasnozerskaya breed. Eight groups of geese were formed, with 8 birds in each: 10 experimental and 7 control groups. Every day, the geese of the experimental groups additionally received Vetom 1 and Vetom 1 with compound feed in dosages from 2 to 50 mg/kg and for 75 days, 15 days and every 30 days with a break of 5 days, while probiotic preparations were not used in the diet of geese from the control group. When using probiotics based on B. subtilis and B. amyloliquefaciens in birds, dysbacteriosis is eliminated and the composition of the microflora contained in the gastrointestinal tract is normalized. The optimal content of bifido- and lactobacilli in the microbial consortium of the gastrointestinal tract of Krasnozerskaya geese was established, with the exception of the amount of bifidobacteria in the 5th experimental group (Vetom 4 at a dose of 2 mg/kg of body weight when feeding once a day for 50 days) during the period of 1 and 30 days from the beginning of the experiment. As a result of using the preparations Vetom 30 and Vetom 60, an increase in the number of typical strains of E. coli and a decrease in the number of lactose-negative E. coli were observed. The number of opportunistic microorganisms Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus epidermidis, yeast fungi of the genus Candida, non-fermenting bacteria, Clostridium in the samples of geese droppings was also within the normal range from 1 to 2 log0,1 CFU/g. The use of these probiotic preparations leads to an effect on regulatory systems, due to which specific and non-specific resistance, adaptogenicity and growth intensity are activated.
