STRATEGIES FOR OVERCOMING RESISTANCE TO CHANGE IN CURRENT ECONOMIC CONDITIONS
The article systematizes the reasons for resistance to change, including psychological barriers, organizational and socio-economic factors, organizational culture, personal interests. The author identifies the main ways to prevent resistance to change, namely: involving employees in the implementation of changes who understand that the problem exists and requires such changes; involving the team in discussion and decision-making; there should be a common vision of methods and tools for solving the problem between all structural units; conducting explanatory work with employees regarding the consequences of implementing changes, both positive and negative, because transparency reduces fears and uncertainty; preparing employees for new conditions through training, seminars or coaching will help them adapt faster; managers should be a role model for others, demonstrate confidence in implementing changes; it is important to listen to the opinions and fears of employees, respond to their questions and help overcome anxiety. Strategies for overcoming resistance to change are summarized and tactics of action are determined in accordance with the specified strategies: communication and staff involvement (open explanation of the reasons for changes, inclusion of employees in the decision-making process, use of a positive approach to change), motivational programs (implementation of flexible incentive systems, recognition of the achievements and contribution of each employee, psychological support and corporate social responsibility), training and development of personnel (conducting training for adaptation to new conditions, development of crisis management skills, implementation of mentoring programs). The features of managing resistance to change in modern business conditions are outlined. Attention is focused on the fact that communication and psychological support of employees are of paramount importance, in particular, conducting stress resistance training. Flexibility and rapid adaptation to the current situation are also important (for example, organizing work online, if possible). In addition, crisis management is a necessary skill today, in particular: the development of risk management strategies; the ability to make decisions quickly in stressful situations; and effective interaction skills.
