Correction to “Developing Offshore Wind Farms in Aotearoa New Zealand: An Analysis of Life Cycle Carbon Emissions, Materials and Energy Implications”

In the paragraph of section 4.3 "Energy indicators", the numbers are incorrect in the second and third sentences. These should have read as follows: "The offshore wind system recoups the energy used in its production in 0.7-1.0 years (depending on the O&M modelling assumptions), providing a quick net energy benefit. The low EPBT value indicates that offshore wind systems enhance environmental benefits by producing significantly more energy than what was consumed in their production. The EROI is between 31 and 41 (depending on O&M modelling assumptions), which shows a high energy gain compared to the energy invested to manufacture the offshore wind system."We apologize for this error.
