CAPACIDAD DE MANEJO
Effective management of protected natural areas is essential for conserving biodiversity and protecting fragile ecosystems. This study analyzes the management capacity in Agua Blanca State Park and Cascadas de Reforma Ecological Reserve in Tabasco. Public use facilities and infrastructure were evaluated following Cifuentes' methodology. These areas are crucial for preserving endangered species and providing ecosystem services. However, the lack of human, financial, and technical resources can affect their effectiveness. It is vital to invest in training specialized personnel and ensuring adequate funding. Community involvement is also key. Strengthening the management capacity of these areas is a priority for long-term conservation, sustainable tourism, and human well-being, guaranteeing continuous benefits for society and the environment.
