Integrating health care and early years support for children and young people living in deprivation: a cost-effectiveness analysis of the Sparkbrook Children’s Zone integrated clinic versus usual primary care in Birmingham, UK
The SCZ shows the potential that integrating health and social care that is place-based is potentially cost-effective, with its early years support likely enhancing the cost-effectiveness of the intervention compared with standard primary care. Further robust data and trial evaluation are essential to confirm these findings, ensuring the scalability and sustainability of such programmes.
