METHYLENE BLUE DYE ADSORPTION ONTO MANILA TAMARIN SHELL COPPER NANOPARTICLES WITH RESPONSE SURFACE OPTIMIZATION
In this study, Manila Tamarin Shell Copper nanoparticles (MTS-Cu-NPs) are used as a cheap adsorbent in batch research to get rid of the Methylene Blue dye in their water solution. Response surface methodology (RSM) is primarily concerned with the operational variables of initial concentration, adsorbent dose, solution pH, and temperature in a batch. The Central composite design (CCD) approach allows for the optimization of the process variables. Even when complex interactions are present, it is still used to determine the relative relevance of process elements. The highest possible removal efficiency was estimated by RSM with a value of 88.085% at the temperature of 309.07 K, a pH value of 4.79, the initial concentration of dye of 37.70 mg/L, an adsorbent dosage of 0.453 g/L, and adsorbent adsorption capability for Methylene blue dye removal is 88.22 mg/g.
