An Organic Acid‐Alkali Coregulated Ionic Liquid Electrolyte Enabling Wide‐Temperature‐Range Proton Battery (Small 14/2025)
Proton Batteries A hybrid organic ionic liquid electrolyte with alkali 1-methyl-1,2,4-triazole protonated by acid bis(trifluoromethysulfonyl)imide as proton carriers and tetramethylene sulfone as the solvent, exhibits the stable electrochemical windows exceeding 5 V at −20 °C and 3.5 V at 80 °C. The assembled MnO2-S//MoO3 proton battery can display an operation voltage up to 1.8 V and run well in a wide-temperature range. More in article number 2405004, Mingjun Hu, Jun Yang, and co-workers.
