Technocenological method for analytical assessment of the automation level of mining-and-transport machines

A schematic chart of the functional architecture of integrated technologies is proposed for highly automated mining dump trucks as well as a structural model for evaluating the functional capabilities of mining machines. This chart helped to develop a technocenological method for analytical assessment of the on-board equipment mix in order to determine the automation level of the mining machine. An algorithm has been developed to determine the level of mining machine automation, based on the proposed dependence of the rank parametric distribution of the automated control systems. Simulation modeling of the mine dump trucks movement, having the increased level of automation, allowed to confirm the improvement of technical and operational indicators of the mine dump trucks by 14.3%. Adjustment of input data for the mining machines at implementation of the integration technologies and connection to the infrastructure facilities showed a significant decrease in application of brakes of the mining machines and their average stay within the system. The number of vehicle stops decreased from 2.5 to 1.5, and the maximum time within the system decreased from 480 to 350 s. The increased efficiency of the mining machines utilization is determined by the ability of the vehicle to interact with the transport infrastructure facilities.
