Research on Demand Response Model Optimization for User-Adjustable Loads

With the construction and development of the energy internet, users can contribute to the stability and safety of the power grid by participating in supply and demand interactions, leveraging the value and benefits of demand-side flexible loads in grid peak shaving, renewable energy integration, and enhancing customer energy efficiency. There is a significant potential for demand response load shedding in the distributed generation system, and it has a solid technical foundation for participating in energy interconnection. However, user load is influenced by business models and the characteristics of user behavior, and how to optimize the modeling is the key. This paper analyzes the patterns and behaviors of users participating in demand response, taking into account the necessity and feasibility of optimization, and proposes an optimized model for user load demand response with active participation of controllable appliances. The model aims to minimize electricity cost as its main objective, introducing an indicator of electricity satisfaction, and establishing a multi-objective response pattern optimization model that takes into account both electricity cost and satisfaction. The model's validity was verified through case analysis. Keywords-demand response, user satisfaction, controllable load, electricity cost
