Active Power Coordinated Control of Grid-Forming Renewable Generations and DC Transmission System
In recent years, the large-scale wind and photovoltaic power bases have been actively promoted in desert and arid regions, with the construction of ultra-high voltage (UHV) transmission channels. However, faults in the DC transmission channels of these new energy bases can lead to short-term active power fluctuations, potentially causing instability in the angle and frequency deviations in the sending-end power system. This paper first establishes a model of a wind-solar power base under ideal conditions, where the wind power system employs a network-forming control strategy to enhance grid connection stability, while the photovoltaic system continues to use the traditional grid-following control. Through theoretical analysis of the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of frequency in the new energy power system, the paper explores the factors influencing these distribution characteristics, discusses the necessity of studying these characteristics, and develops a coordinated energy flow control strategy for the wind-solar power base. Simulation results verify the accuracy of the proposed frequency indices and the effectiveness of the control strategy, summarizing the frequency variation patterns considering spatiotemporal distribution effects.
