Multi-Scenario Scheduling Optimization Strategies for Pumped Storage Power Stations Considering Hydropower in the Same River Basin
In order to improve the new energy consumption rate in regional power grids, minimize the operational costs of power systems, and enhance the reliability of power supply, a multi-scenario source-storage-load scheduling optimization strategy based on the integration of distributed pumped-storage power stations is proposed. The scheduling plan incorporates the multi-time scale characteristics of energy storage stations and various demand response resources on the load side, ensuring higher accuracy of forecast data through intra-day rolling and real-time adjustments. With the system operational costs, wind power curtailment penalty costs, and load shedding penalty costs as the objective functions, a multi-time scale scheduling model is established. Finally, optimization calculations are completed using the commercial software package GUROBI on the MATLAB platform. The results indicate that this scheduling strategy can achieve optimal operational costs and effectively reduce wind power curtailment rates, significantly enhancing the new energy consumption rate in the source-storage-load system.
