VARIABILIDADE DO BALANÇO DE RADIAÇÃO EM ÁREA DESMATADA NO SEMIÁRIDO DE ALAGOAS
The objective was to evaluate the components of the radiation balance in an area of deforested Caatinga that was not used for any agricultural or livestock purposes. Was made in the Mourão Farm, Backcountry of Alagoas, in the timespan of November/2020 to May/2023, with micrometeorological monitoring of the radiation balance components. A large variation was found in the hourly average albedo values, whose averages in the dry season were lower than in the rainy season. With the total removal of vegetation an average increase of 91.19% of reflected solar radiation (Rr) was found and albedo grew to 0.21 (50% increment). Despite the oscillation of atmospheric (Ra) and surface (Rs) longwave Radiation, Longwave balance (BOL) was always negative, as it depends on the surface temperature and cloudiness/precipitation, since it varied from -69, 0 W m-2 in the dry season to -54.06 W m-2 in the rainy season. The average hourly distribution of net radiation (Rn) shows basically the same pattern as the global (Rg), reflected (Rr) solar radiation and shortwave balance (BOC). When Caatinga is deforested, there is a decrease of 7.02% in the BOC, an increase of 37.08% in the BOL and a reduction of 13.28% in the net radiation.
