“Human” subjectivity as a problem: possible theories on the reconfiguration of subjectivity space

Human beings underwent a variety of assigned places, or rather conditions, according to which they could manifest themselves as “human” at all. The series of predicates by which the “place of the human” is expressed serve as functions for simultaneously generating boundaries with non-human agents (animals, robots, etc.) and as structuring bases for morphological theories. In contemporary literature, one popular approach to considering the “human” is not so much theorizing about “who the human is” but rather, etymologically adjacent, speculating (fiction) about the ways in which the world is given to the human, in which the very series of these predications would undergo a change: by alienating from thinking the immediate access to the sphere of affects, making them absolutely Other for cognition, thus resolving such a problem through the presentation of a new method of representing subjectivity in general and/or through imagination and the imagination of the human. The paper, which is mainly of an overview nature, will examine such phenomena as: the uncanny valley, animalistic and mechanistic dehumanizations. Thus, questions will be raised about subjectivity (and in what relation it is to intersubjectivity) and about the ontology of sociality in general. As a basis, articles from contemporary periodicals will be taken from both the philosophical consideration of artificial intelligence and the discourse on the animal-human boundary. In addition to the above-mentioned sources, Jacques Derrida, Gilbert Simondon, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, etc. will be mentioned in the paper.
