This is a conceptual effort to find what is important and the basis of this issue. Moreover, this research also seeks to provide a complete picture of the state of protection of domestic workers around the world through various research publications that have been conducted by researchers. This is an effort to help resolve this issue through academia in the form of comprehensive research. This research uses a scoping review method with an analytical bibliometrics approach. This research uses Nvivo 12 plus and Vosviewers software as well as analysis features in Scopus to analyze and visualize the data. Document data retrieved from the Scopus database were limited from 2014--2024 to obtain the most recent data on the discussion of domestic worker protection. In addition, during this period, this issue was widely discussed around the world as various events involving domestic workers emerged. The finding of this research shows an increasing scholarly interest, highlighting key themes such as labor rights, legal frameworks, and social protections. The analysis underscores the importance of interdisciplinary approaches, incorporating perspectives from law, sociology, and economics. Moreover, the geographic distribution of research indicates a focus on regions with prominent domestic worker populations, reflecting the urgent need for policy improvements. Overall, this bibliometric study serves as a foundation for future research and advocacy efforts aimed at enhancing the rights and protections of domestic workers globally. However, this research has limitations, namely only focusing on one data source from Scopus. Therefore, it is recommended for future research to be able to use sources other than scopus to be able to be a comparison, in order to obtain comprehensive data.
