Automated Poultry Nutrition and Hydration Utilizing Raspberry Pi
In Malaysia, poultry meat is the number one meat consumption that leads the total amount of meat consumption by a huge margin. This highlights the importance of the production of poultry meat. This paper is about developing an automated poultry feeder and drinker system using Raspberry Pi Model 5, ESP-8266, and various sensors to enhance efficiency and reduce manual labour in small and medium-sized farms. The system integrates hardware components such as load cell sensors and ultrasonic sensors with wireless control, enabling precise and remote management. Comprehensive testing ensures functionality and reliability, while user training and feedback inform continuous improvement. This paper demonstrates the potential of modern technology to transform traditional poultry farming practices, making them more efficient and cost-effective.
