CardiCare: An Application to Empower Your Heart's Health

Since heart disease is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, it is extremely important to reduce its impact as early as possible. This target can be achieved by early detection and prevention. Although we know how important our heart's health is, keeping track of and monitoring our heart's health using the latest tools and technology is essential. By combining machine learning with mobile technology, this study aims to develop a new system for detecting heart disease through real-time monitoring of individuals' heart's health. Built for android and the web, the program pulls in user-generated data from a variety of sources, including self-reported health information and data from physical activity tracking. This data is further processed through machine learning algorithms to confirm the heart-related disease. The most important characteristic of our heart disease detection application is using a centralized database so that users are always provided with a safe place to store and analyze their data. The back-end of the application is using REST APIs to communicate with both the front-end and the machine learning algorithms. This enables the app to measure and track the heart's health of the user and provide them with individualized suggestions as well as real-time health information. Users will be able to track and continuously monitor their heart's health throughout time with the help of this program.
