Enhanced Room Coverage With Photon-Level NLOS Ultraviolet Optical Wireless Communication
A robust indoor solar-blind ultraviolet (UV) communication system employing a non-line-of-sight (NLOS) scheme is presented. This approach achieves full-room coverage with a data rate of 2 Mbps, demonstrating resilience to transmitter-receiver misalignment compared to the line-of-sight (LOS) link. Additionally, the system’s capabilities for joint wireless connectivity and particulate/aerosol sensing are demonstrated. The integrated communication and sensing functionality provides a promising solution for adaptable and secure operation in challenging environments.
