Ground state of the decorated Ising model on the Kagome lattice
The ground state of the decorated Ising model on the Kagome lattice is studied using computational physics methods . The model takes into account the exchange interactions between the nearest nodal neighbors, next-to-nearest nodal neighbors, and between nodal and nearest decorated neighbors. The ground state configurations are determined for various ratios of the exchange interactions between nodal spins and decorated spins, as well as between nodal spins themselves. The boundaries for the existence of regions with different ground state configurations are determined. The ground state energy values are calculated for all configurations. • The ground state of the decorated Ising model on the Kagome lattice is investigated. • Decorated spins affect ordering in the ground state. • Decorating leads to frustration and degeneracy in the ground state.
