Determination of steady-state deceleration parameters for electric vehicles of category L1 during automotive technical examinations

Currently, experts are faced with the problem of the lack of deceleration parameters for electric vehicles (EV) of category L1, in particular the value of the established deceleration and its build-up time, which does not allow calculating the technical capabilities of EV drivers of category L1. This study is aimed at creating a database to improve the accuracy of automotive technical examinations. The authors analyze data on deceleration and its build-up time for electric vehicles of category L1, taking into account various conditions. The obtained polynomial curves and regression equations will help to more accurately assess braking performance in real road traffic situations (RTS). Keywords road transport expertise, traffic safety, slowdown, electric vehicles category L1

Abstract

Currently, experts are faced with the problem of the lack of deceleration parameters for electric vehicles (EV) of category L1, in particular the value of the established deceleration and its build-up time, which does not allow calculating the technical capabilities of EV drivers of category L1. This study is aimed at creating a database to improve the accuracy of automotive technical examinations. The authors analyze data on deceleration and its build-up time for electric vehicles of category L1, taking into account various conditions. The obtained polynomial curves and regression equations will help to more accurately assess braking performance in real road traffic situations (RTS).
